Most people use at least 2 or 3 passwords on a regular basis, either for logging in to various websites or applications. In this situation, it's sometimes difficult to remember all these passwords. Having the same passwords for all your accounts is not a good idea, as hackers can take over all your accounts in case they intercept the password for at least one of them. A solution for keeping track of all your passwords is Passwords Max. This Windows program allows you to store all your passwords in one place and automatically login to any website without having to manually enter the username and password.

When running the application, you will first need to open the webpage in which you need to enter your credentials. That's because Passwords Max can automatically detect opened web pages and can associate a username and password with that specific website. After the website has been loaded, you can use the step by step wizard included in the application for adding a new account. When accessing the wizard, you can select one of the 4 available options. You can either choose to have the username and password automatically or manually entered in the website or just store the credentials in the application.

A useful feature included in Passwords Max is the password generator. Using it, you can make up passwords which are very difficult to hack. Besides that, when generating passwords, their complexity is displayed in real time. After entering the desired usernames and passwords, you are able to either save them as a file or print them using any regular printer. You can also back up all the data stored in the program to a ZIP file, which can be restored later on.

Pros

It allows you to store any username and password and also enter them automatically in the corresponding website. Furthermore, you can back up the list of usernames and passwords to a ZIP file. Furthermore, it includes a password generator which enables to you make up strong and difficult to break passwords.

Cons

When backing up to a ZIP file, you cannot protect the backup file with a password. With the help of Passwords Max you can store all your usernames and passwords in the same place.
